About Doro
Doro (also called Dororong) is a fan-made chibi of Dorothy from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE: Dorothy's pink hair, purple eyes and bow on top of a small, round, four-legged white blob. The sinister Dorothy of the story becomes a sleepy little creature with a :3 mouth who mostly just says "Doro."
She started in June 2023 as a set of emotes on the Korean forum Arca.live, which put a chibi Dorothy head on a blob body borrowed from an older SoulWorker meme. From there she spread through the NIKKE community and onto Reddit, and became one of the game's best-known memes.
Shift Up, NIKKE's developer, took her in as an unofficial mascot: Doro has appeared in the game, in promotions for NIKKE and Stellar Blade, as merch and figures, and even as a giant inflatable on New York's Hudson River in summer 2025. In August 2025 Shift Up filed a trademark for her design. On Instagram she is a regular in @kimi.ga.kawaii's chibi episodes alongside Fibi Chubi, Nuo Nuo and Gugu Gaga.
